The humility of Jesus!

The fact that Jesus could still make use of his divinity while He was here on earth is all the more important for us to know. It was not as if he had fully become a man and therefore now, he had to depend on God since he became weak and He had no other choice. His humanity did not divest Him of His divinity since He was both fully God and fully man. The startling thing is that He could have used His divine powers to save Himself but He chose not to That is why His humility shines even more brighter. It was not that He humbled himself and became man but He continuously humbled Himself and remained a servant while here on earth. It is like us when we choose something lower even though we could be someone bigger. For example – I can boss over my staff but I choose not to. I can control my wife but I choose not to. I can build a big mansion with the money I have but I choose not to. That is what real humility is all about.
